The October meeting of the Honolulu County Genealogical Society met on Oct. 13th for an interesting and informative presentation about "The Five C's for Success in Genealogy" a CD that brought the Webinar of 22 Aug 2012, by Barbara Renick, to our meeting. The Webinar was originally produced by LegacyFamilyTree.com and is one of the many CDs for purchase.
The five C's are: 1) Combine Classic and 2) Computer; 3) Collaborate with Cousins 4) Cite Sources Consistently 5) Comprehensive Searching. Creating a geographic timeline and tracking the family homes and migration began the research techniques that led to success.
