HCGS mtg Sep 14 - Organizing Memories & Keepsakes

   For the upcoming September 14th meeting of the Honolulu County Genealogical Society, please bring one item of genealogical or historic interest and talk about it for 5 minutes.  If you have digital pictures you want to illustrate the item/story send them to me no later than a few days before the meeting,  donwen@aol.com  so I can get them on power point.   This may be our own little Fair keeping in mind The Iowa Genealogical Society with their big display at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines last July.  There people could enter various categories of genealogical interest, and even get awarded ribbons.  Well, we're not that big, but maybe we can have our own little HCGS Genealogical Fair Sep 14th.

           

   The co-topic will be ORGANIZING OUR MEMORIES AND KEEPSAKES - using various strategies and websites for help.

   Remember also, we might have time for individual one minute genealogy questions / comments/ happy dances, etc.... anything relevant in your life to Genealogy.  So come prepared.
   Condolences to member Stan Jones for the recent passing of his wife, member Roberta Jones.
