The Honolulu County Genealogical Society meeting meets this
Saturday on March 11, 9 am (though best to arrive a little early if you can) at
Keola Ho’onanea Senior Housing at 1465 A’ala St Honolulu.
Our meeting
room is located downstairs at the back of the building. Parking is
limited on the Senior Housing property but street parking is available on both
Vineyard and A’ala streets. (directions below)
Meeting Agenda: Mickey has been
exploring tools to delve deeper into using DNA and will share these with us.
Please bring your laptops if you have done DNA through one of the companies
offering that service.
Ann will ask for your best
detective solving skills after laying out the clues she has uncovered to find
her Mystery Ancestor. He has not yet been found so bring your Sherlock
skill set with you Saturday.
Ann will bring the three volumes titled “The Great
Immigration Begins: Immigrants to New England 1620-1633” by Robert Charles
Anderson. These are not to be take, but can be looked through. More materials
will be available for members to take home as well.
