HCGS Meeting Feb 13, 2018

The Honolulu County Genealogical Society meeting for February 13th, 2018  at 9 am
will be "BRICK WALL DEMOLITION DAY"  and it would be best if your prepare.

1)Identify one of your brick wall people you would like to concentrate on and maybe one back up in case you solve or get too frustrated to continue on the first one you've chosen.

2) Outline what you know about this person. For example what ever dates you have for birth and death, any other family information, where the person lived or was born, or died, etc.

3) It might be good to have something to write with such as a note pad and pencil. Or, maybe you are adept at electronic devises to keep your notes?  Whatever works for you.

4) If you belong to an association that has an online data base, or have a subscription to a genealogy source like Ancestry, NEHGS, family search (you get the idea). Come prepared to use these resources for others who may not have the same access.  We are all going to help each other to the best of our ability.  If that means bringing your laptop or other devise, please do so.
