The November 10, 2018 meeting of the Honolulu County Genealogical Society featured member, Stan Jones who gave a presentation on genealogical research methods including "Tips and Techniques for Effective Interviewing;" “Afterlife Conferences;” “Together Through Korea; Alzheimer’s;” and “Getting on the Road to Trace Your Roots.”

Stan Jones discussed the value of interviewing ancestors for cute family antidotal
stories. He
informed us that there is Information in funeral homes, believe it or not. Check
neighbors of ancestors in the census records and their histories as there may
be some overlap of stories. Differences
in names and name changes were discussed.
