I must mention what a fun time we had at the Holiday Brunch at Hickam Officers' Club on Dec 2nd. Twenty-three members of the Honolulu County Genealogical Society and their guests experienced a wonderful buffet in their own party room at the Club. Thanks Jim Deutch for making the arrangements. We finally got a chance to do plenty of talking, and that we did! Besides the delicious food, dessert and Champagne, the highlight was a gift-exchange that lasted quite a while, with some gifts having up to four different owners in the blink of an eye! We missed some familiar faces and hope to see them all at the next meeting on January 12th at Manoa Gardens.
On Saturday, January 12th, at our January HCGS Meeting, there will be a different "After Meeting Lunch" for those who want to participate. You can chip in for delivery pizza, or bring a brown bag lunch. Maybe we can solve some brick walls. Bring your questions.
