will be discussing the loss of our meeting site at Manoa Gardens and where we
should meet in the future.

The meeting starts at 9am. Plan on arriving at 8:30 am, if you can, to
find your way and to get to the parking lot. Help may be needed to set up the
meeting room. Parking is available free behind the chapel.

Nanette
Napoleon is a freelance historical researcher, writer, and Hawaiian cultural
specialist. She is most well-known for
her extensive work documenting and preserving historic graveyards in Hawai‘i,
and promotes graveyards as important historic and cultural sites by giving
cemetery walking tours and lectures in the community. She has also written a book titled, “Oahu
Cemetery Burial Ground & Historic Site”.
Nanette has also served on the board of directors of Oahu Cemetery for
15 years. She has also done research on
the over 100 graves of Civil War soldiers and sailors in Hawaii.
