Tom Bopp HCGS past president dies

Condolenses to Georgia Bopp, and the family of Tom Bopp, past president of the Honolulu County Genealogical Society, who passed away after a short illness on June 15, 2013.  He will be greatly missed.
  
Tom and his wife, Georgia Bopp have, for many years, been dedicated to the HCGS.  Tom is a past President and Vice President, and Georgia, a secretary.  They have both donated their time and expertise to expand our knowledge of genealogy, especially DNA. Tom was always available and eager to get people around his laptop computer and help them find their ancestors, teaching them, and hoping to help them on their genealogical journey.

Thomas Theodore Bopp, 71, of Kailua, a University of Hawaii at Manoa chemistry department professor emeritus, died. He was born in Burbank, Calif. He is survived by wife Georgia K., sons Christopher P. and Jon S., daughters P. Jayne Bopp and Galatea R. DeLapp, brothers William and James, sisters Barbara Wille and Deborah Bopp, and four grandchildren. Private services.
