As Ann Sloat says: "Stan Yon and I both attended the Federation of Genealogical Societies in Pittsburgh this past month. We are both going to report on our experiences at the conference and after when we took off seeking our own research goals (Stan went further and longer than me). I want to share some of the ideas from the first day of the conference that was geared toward delegates of the member societies. These include suggestions on how to attract more members, how to be more visible in our communities, etc."
Coming up in November:
"Brick Wall Demolitions" a working discussion of the "Brick Walls" members are experiencing. Come to share your problems finding an ancestor and maybe we can help solve it. Bring your laptop if you want. WiFi is available.
